We are a family owned and operated cattle ranch in New Mexico's central mountain chain. The Thompson family started ranching in New Mexico in 1868. We started raising Black Angus cattle over 39 year ago, We are consistently striving to improve our cattle adding to their overall quality, efficiency and profitability. Our cattle are raised and acclimated to our New Mexico Range conditions. With over 39 years of stacked Angus Genetics from the best proven bulls in the breed.

As we keep improving our herd Genetics we use them first on our own replacement Heifers before we ever offer them for sale, that way we are the guinea pig, not you. Our Top Quality Angus Bulls with avg. birth weights from 55 to 72 lbs. & average weaning weights of 712 lbs. with the highest of 890 lbs. No creep feed or growth implants, just native range land and Mama's milk. Our herd average cow size is 1100 Lbs. the optimum target size for our country. These cows are weaning Calves 61% of their body weight overall between the Bulls & Heifers. The Bulls 67% avg. & Heifers 55% avg. being offered for sale.
